MEET THE TEAM

Eric
Head Coach Director/Owner
I started gymnastics in 1987 and was a competitive gymnast from 1988-2001. I have been coaching since 1996 . I have coached locally since 2002. Two things I love about gymnastics is that no matter what you do in the future, gymnastics has its way of making every step in your life better. It builds a very well rounded, strong person who can endure pressure or obstacles presented to them. Also, no matter what sport you do as a child or an adult, you have a major advantage having a background in gymnastics.

Desiree
Owner/Manager
Well, I have a very different origin story about why and how I ended up in gymnastics. It all started in 2013 when I started both of my oldest children in gymnastics. They are 14 months apart. The kids absolutely loved gymnastics and their coach. That same summer my husband passed away and I did my best to keep my children busy and give them some type or normalcy and consistency. It worked, they fell in love with the sport. My daughter went on to compete and love the sport and to this day she is very involved in gymnastics and is a really good loving recreational coach.
My son was on the boys team and ninja for a few years. About two years after my husband passed away, I had another child with my current husband Coach Eric. Cora started gym as soon as she could walk. Today she is training level 6 and is only 8 years old.
So you see I am now in this sport for the long haul. I have grown to love it and cherish all the moments I have with my family and our gym families. We are trying to bring a very unique program to our area. God has been very good to our family and we are trying to show some of that same love to others.

Jon
Coach
This is a man who has done it all. Most know Jon from the YMCA where he spent the last 20+ years running their program and competitive team. Jon needs no introduction. Skills talent and wisdom is what he brings to our team. Loved by all he is an asset to our program to the area and to each and ever kid he works with.

Kim
Coach
Some of you may have seen Coach Kim in the building. We wanted to also include her bio as she will be taking on more days and working with our level 4 and higher group.
Began teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Acro at LaVerne Meier School of Dance classes for many years. She also traveled the country as a Dance Judge for Regency Talent Competitions. After moving to Texas in 1994, Kimberly became a Jr. Olympic OPTIONAL gymnastics coach at South Texas Gymnastics Academy, producing dozens of State, Regional & National Champions, National Team Members, coaching International Elite athletes at the World Championships, and preparing Henrietta Onodi for her 1996 Olympic comeback. Kimberly and her family moved to Prescott in 2002. After a hiatus, she returned to coaching gymnastics at Flip City and AZ Dreams Gymnastics. She was nominated twice in AZ for Choreographer of the Year. Kim is a great addition to the training of both dancers and gymnasts and teaches at several studios and both gyms here in Prescott. Her ability to build strength / technique/ flexibility / skill level / & acrobatics into the athletic side of dance is an asset to our students!

Autumn
Coach
Autumn is a Prescott local that has been coaching gymnastics the last 5 years. She is an NAU graduate and worked at Summit Gymnastics while in Flagstaff. While she never competed both her sisters were Level 9 gymnasts and she started her Gymnastics journey to be closer to them. Her favorite event to coach is Vault. When not in the gym she likes to rock climb, read, and hike in new places.

Sandi
Coach
Sandi has experienced every side of gymnastics—as a gymnast, coach, judge, and gym mom. Her competitive career spanned 11 years, she coached for over two decades (including being her daughter Shea’s first coach), and she’s been a proud gym mom for nearly 16 years.
Since 1976, gymnastics has been her second home. Through every routine, setback, and breakthrough, her love for the sport has never faded. For Sandi, the true joy lies not in medals, but in watching gymnasts grow, overcome challenges, and shine—both on and off the mat.
